About the Academy

We offer fun and results-oriented camps for 12-14 year-olds, made up of 6-10 sessions that are designed to maximize your rising star’s performance and potential, not just in flag football, but in every aspect of life. Camp sessions are 1 hour and are held on weeknights during evening hours for convenience.

  • Are you an athlete who wants to excel and who believes in hard work and positive play. Then you belong here. Rising Stars Flag Football Academy camps are open to all athletes ages 12-14 who want to have fun and be the best they can be.

  • It takes place at:

    TOCA Soccer Center St. Louis 4900 Manchester Ave Ste 500, St. Louis, MO 63110.

    And starts Thursday at 7 pm through 8pm on February 15 through March 21st, 2024. 6 sessions total.

  • Bring comfortable shorts and shirt, water to drink, cleats or athletic shoes, and the desire to have fun and imrove your game.

  • Each session starts off with a dynamic warmup and body conditioning including stretching and athletic movement exercises. Then there will be specific drills and lessons relating to the game of football and receiver skills. This will take about 15 minutes. Then there will be a mindset moment where we coach up on winning attitudes. From there we will divide teams and hold a scrimmage, with coachable moments included in the scrimmage. At the end of the session we will wrap it up with a positive mindset moment, and a show of mutual respect.

Strategy

Informal and FUN scrimmages held during the last half of each session. Coachable moments take place as the opportunities arise.

Big picture offensive and defensive strategies will be emphasized throughout the camps.
